Northampton Street Bridge (Easton-Phillipsburg 'free bridge) -- An ongoing utility project on the Phillipsburg, N.J. side of the Northampton Street Toll-Supported Bridge (a.k.a. the Easton-Phillipsburg "free bridge") will necessitate a detour of New Jersey-bound traffic off the bridge starting 7 p.m. tonight -- Friday, Sept. 5 -- and continuing into early Saturday morning, Sept. 6.
