A series of off-peak daytime lane closures are scheduled for the I-78 Toll Bridge during the week of May 4.
The travel restrictions will allow for biennial inspections of the bridge.
The lane closures are as follows:
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 5, Tuesday, May 6, and Wednesday, May 7 — right westbound lane closed (two of three westbound lanes open);
- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, and Friday, May 9 — right eastnound lane closed (two of three eastbound lanes open).
Travel delays are not anticipated.
Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution when approaching and traveling through designated inspection travel zones.
The lane closure schedule is subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
