Skoda Contracting utility work along Main Street in Phillipsburg is expected to necessitate a New Jersey-bound (eastbound) traffic detour at the Northampton Street Toll-Supported Bridge (a.k.a. Easton-Phillipsburg “free bridge”) 7 p.m. Friday, May 2, to 6 a.m. Saturday, May 3.
The overnight travel restriction will allow utility crews to work on buried gas lines near the intersection of Main Street and Union Square in Phillipsburg.
