EWING, NJ –The Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project’s scheduled travel restrictions for the week of July 1 are as follows:

New Jersey side  

  • Route 29 northbound bypass roadway – OVERNIGHT closure with posted detour through interchange 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. (next day) on Monday, July 2, and Thursday, July 5.
  • Route 175/River Road– Intermittent alternating single-lane traffic pattern controlled by flaggers 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, July 2; noon to 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 5; and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 6.

Pennsylvania side

  • I-95 north from the Route 332/Newtown-Yardley interchange (Exit 49) to the Scudder Falls Bridge– Intermittent single-lane travel patterns 10 a.m. to 6 a.m. (next day) Monday, July 2; noon to 6 a.m. (next day) on Thursday, July 5; and 10 a.m. to 6 a.m. (next day) on Friday, July 6.
  • I-95 south from the Scudder Falls Bridge to the Route 332/Newtown-Yardley interchange (exit 49)– Intermittent single-lane travel patterns 8 p.m. Monday, July 2, to 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 3; and 8 p.m. to 2 p.m. (next day) Thursday, July 5, and Friday, July 6.
  • Taylorsville Road in vicinity of I-95– Intermittent single-lane patterns with possible flagger-controlled travel 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, July 2; noon to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 5; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 6.
  • River Road/Route 32– Intermittent alternating single-lane travel with traffic controlled by flaggers 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, July 2; noon to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 5; and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, July 6.
  • Woodside Road – Intermittent alternating single-lane travel with possible flagger-controlled traffic 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, July 2; noon to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 5; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 6.

Fourth of July travel period:A moratorium on project-related travel restrictions will be in effect from 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 3, to noon Thursday, July 5.

WeekendsAside from any carryover of Friday overnight closures into Saturdays, no other overnight travel restrictions are scheduled for the weekends of June 30-July 1 and July 7-8

The aforementioned scheduled travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather, emergency, traffic, and equipment/materialsmobilization considerations. Motorists are urged to allow extra time to reach their destinations, and to reduce speeds and exercise caution when travelling through project work areas.
