EWING, NJ – Overnight roadway and ramp closures with posted detours are scheduled to be implemented again next week along portions of the sprawling I-95/Route 29 interchange (Exit 1) on the New Jersey side of the Scudder Falls Bridge, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced today.

The travel restrictions at the interchange are needed to allow for the lifting and installation of steel girders for the first span of the new bridge that is under construction to replace the current, functionally obsolete Scudder Falls Bridge.

Four traffic movements at the interchange will be affected 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. (next day) from Monday, Feb. 19 through Friday, Feb. 23:  Route 29 southbound traffic through the interchange; Route 29 northbound traffic to I-95 southbound; I-95 southbound traffic exiting to Route 29 southbound; and I-95 northbound traffic exiting to Route 29 northbound.  (Detour maps are available and may be accessed on the home page of the project website: www.scudderfallsbridge.com.)
