PHILLIPSBURG, N.J. – The Broad Street exit from Route 22 East in Phillipsburg, N.J. is scheduled to be closed to all traffic 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4.

The exit ramp is the first Route 22 turnoff in New Jersey after crossing the Easton-Phillipsburg (Route 22) Toll Bridge from Pennsylvania.

The ramp closure is needed so a Commission contractor can carry electrical repairs near the exit ramp.

Motorists are advised to use alternative travel routes to reach their destinations while the ramp is closed.

The planned travel restriction is subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
