The Northampton Street Toll-Supported Bridge (a.k.a. the Easton-Phillipsburg “free bridge”) is scheduled to have single travel lanes (one of three lanes closed) in each direction 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 23.
The travel restriction is needed so Commission personnel can perform maintenance on the bridge’s architectural lights.
Minor travel delays are possble.
Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution crossing the bridge while repairs are taking place.
The scheduled travel restriction is subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
