Southbound Route 1 motorists traveling from Trenton, N.J. to Morrisville, PA. could encounter travel delays approaching the Trenton-Morrisville Toll Bridge between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Monday, July 27, to Friday, July 31.
A southbound lane close is scheduled on the bridge (two of three lanes open) for the five days so a Commission contractor can perform repair work on supporting piers below the roadway deck.
The taper for the lane restriction will begin along Route 1 south in Trenton before the bridge. Travel delays are possible at the taper point.
Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution approaching the bridge from Trenton, N.J.
The scheduled daytime travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
