Traffic-flagging restrictions are scheduled to be in effect at the Riverton-Belvidere Toll-Supported Bridge 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Apr. 27.
The bridge will be reduced to a single lane with alternating traffic during that period.
Motorists are urged to reduce speeds, exercise caution, and follow flagger instruction approacing the bridge while inspections are taking place.The travel restriction is needed for engineers making inspections of the bridge structure in accordance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards.
The bridge is inspected every two years. The last inspection ocurred in 2024.
The scheduled traffic flagging is subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
