Pennsylvania-bound traffic on the Delaware Water Gap (I-80) Toll Bridge will be restricted to a single travel lane (one of two lanes open) 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Apr. 30.
The off-peak daytime lane closure will enable Commission engineering consultants to conduct measurements and other activities associated with the design and planning for a future open-road all-electronic tolling facility at the bridge.
I-80 westbound motorists approaching the bridge are urged to reduce speeds, exercise caution, and allow additional time to reach their destinations.
Minor travel delays are possible.
The scheduled travel restriction is subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
