Motorists should expect to encounter traffic shifts at the Lower Trenton Toll-Supported Bridge (colloquially referred to as the “Trenton Makes” bridge) 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Apr. 6, to Wednesday, Apr. 8.

The daytime travel restrictions are needed for inspections of the 97-year-old bridge in accordance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards. The bridge is inspected every two years and was last inspected in 2024.

Travel delays are not anticipated. Motorists are advised to reduce speeds and exercise caution approaching bridge entrances while inspections are taking place.

The schedule is subject to change due to weather, emergencies, and other factors.
