LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA – The segment of PA Route 32/River Road in the vicinity of the Scudder Falls Toll Bridge is scheduled to be closed and detoured for paving work 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. TOMORROW – Friday, Nov. 19.

The road closure also will block motorist access at the intersection of Woodside Road with Route 32/River Road.

Morning commuters who use the Route 32/River Road segment near the Scudder Falls Bridge and the intersection with Woodside Road are urged to plan ahead and allow additional time to reach their destinations.

Posted detours are expected to be implemented, directing impacted motorists around the closed section of PA Route 32/River Road in the vicinity of the Scudder Falls Toll Bridge.  Note:  The closure will not affect traffic on I-295 or the Scudder Falls Toll Bridge.

Detours will be via nearby Main Street/Taylorsville Road, beginning at East Afton Ave. (Route 332)/Delaware Ave. (Route 32) in Yardley to the south and Mt. Eyre Road on the Lower Makefield/Upper Makefield township lines to the north.
