EWING, NJ – The section of NJ Route 175/Upper River Road in the vicinity of I-295 is scheduled to be closed and detoured three days next week, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced today.

The closures/detours will allow work crews to install new curbing along the portions of NJ Route 175/Upper River Road that have been impacted by Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project construction activities over the past four years.  The new curbing will allow for resurfacing of the affected portion of Route 175/Upper River Road in coming months.

Motorists should expect both lanes of Route 175/Upper River Road in the vicinity of the I-295 overpass to be impassable 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, to Thursday, April 22.  Posted detours will direct motorists to use nearby Route 29 when the roadway segment is closed.  Access is to be maintained for local residences when roadway closures are in effect.
