The travel restrictions listed above are subject to change due to weather, emergency, and traffic considerations.   Motorists are urged to allow extra time to reach their destinations, and reduce speeds and exercise caution when travelling through project work areas.

The lane closures are needed to allow for mobilization and installation of painting equipment and containment at the overpass bridge that carries Carpentersville Road across I-78 in Pohatcong, N.J., and other construction activities. This work is part of a 15-month-long rehabilitation project now taking place at various overpasses and bridges along the Commission’s I-78 segment and the approach slabs immediately before and after those structures.
