I-80 TOLL BRIDGE LANE CLOSURES SCHEDULED FOR WEEK OF JUNE 1 Bridge will have lane restrictions in off-peak hours Sunday through Friday
DELAWARE WATER GAP, PA - The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission today announced that temporary off-peak lane restrictions will take place between Sunday, June 1 and Friday, June 6 on the Delaware Water Gap (I-80) Toll Bridge to accommodate contractors working on the bridge.
Weather permitting, the single-lane restrictions will occur in the left lanes in the eastbound and westbound directions Sunday through Friday nights beginning at 9 p.m. and reopening by 6 a.m. the next morning.
Motorists are asked to reduce their speed and use caution as they travel through an active work zone.
About the Commission
The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission was formed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey in 1934. It operates seven toll bridges and 13 toll-supported bridges, two of which are pedestrian-only spans. The Commission's jurisdiction extends along the Delaware River from the Philadelphia-Bucks County line north to the New Jersey/New York border. The bridges carry more than 135 million cars and trucks each year.
