Pre-Bid Meeting Sign-In Sheet

Remove and replace the existing transite (asbestos) corrugated roof panels with coated metal roof system on the Riverton-Belvidere Toll Supported Bridge Maintenance Garage. This Garage is located just east of the noted bridge along the south side of Water Street in the Town of Belvidere, Warren County, New Jersey.

Work includes, but is not limited to:

• Removal and disposal of the existing asbestos corrugated roof panels including stored panels in garage attic space in accordance with all federal, state and/or local regulations
• Remove, replace and install fascia board, batten members, sister rafters and aluminum capping as specified
• Inspect the existing timber roof supporting system (rafters, battens, etc.) to determine the extent and need of repair and/or replacement
• Install approved steel standing seam roof system and snow rail system as per manufacturer's recommendation
• Install approved gutter, downspout and attachments in accordance with approved working drawings.

The Easton-Phillipsburg (E-P) Toll Bridge carries Rt. 22 and connects the City of Easton, Northampton County, Pennsylvania with the Town of Phillipsburg, Warren County, New Jersey. The E-P Toll Bridge facility consists of the New Jersey Approach and one approach structure, the Main River Bridge and the Pennsylvania Approach consisting of three approach structures and a pedestrian tunnel. 

Work includes, but is not limited to:

• Concrete pavement repairs, full depth replacement and/or mill and resurface pavement at various locations
• Minor repairs to the toll plaza
• Replace and/or upgrade roadway and bridge lighting
• Blast clean and paint all structural steel on the Broad Street Viaduct (NJ) and Main River Bridge
• Remove and replace bituminous deck at the main river bridge and Broad Street Viaduct
• Replace Route 22 Bridge over SR 611 (PA) with a new steel multi-stringer superstructure
• Construct an ADA Compliant Ramp to the Pedestrian Tunnel on Bushkill Street (PA)
• Perform miscellaneous structural repairs and partial rehabilitation at both at the 3rd Street and Bank Street overpasses (PA)
