Contact: Joe Donnelly (267) 790-1010 or Pete Peterson (215) 893-4297

MORRISVILLE, PA -

The ramps to and from Route 1 south on the east side of the S. Pennsylvania Avenue Interchange in Morrisville will be closed and detoured for approximately six months for reconstruction beginning Tuesday, April 15.

Traffic normally using those ramps, which are located immediately south of the bridge's Toll Plaza, will be detoured to the adjacent Route 1 south on- and off-ramps on the west side of S. Pennsylvania Avenue.

A temporary traffic signal is in place on S. Pennsylvania Avenue at the base of the ramps to manage traffic flow at the interchange during construction.

The work is part of the ongoing $100-plus million bridge widening and reconstruction project.
