MORRISVILLE, PA - The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced today that there will be temporary, single-lane, off-peak hour lane restrictions on the Delaware Water Gap (I-80) Toll Bridge and the Easton-Phillipsburg (Route 22) Toll Bridge to accommodate survey work on the bridges.

Weather permitting, the single-lane restrictions will occur on the Delaware Water Gap Toll Bridge in the eastbound direction on Wednesday, January 23^rd between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. The single-lane restrictions on the Easton-Phillipsburg Toll Bridge in the westbound direction are scheduled to occur, subject to weather conditions, on Thursday, January 24^th between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Motorists are asked to use caution as they travel through the active work zone.

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission, formed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and state of New Jersey in 1934, operates seven toll and 11 vehicular and two pedestrian toll-supported (free) bridges along the Delaware River from Trenton-Morrisville to the New York border. These bridges carry more than 135 million cars and trucks each year.
