Upcoming E-ZPass Events


E-ZPass QuickStart Program  

Due to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission's E-ZPass Customer Service Center's merger into the New Jersey E-ZPass system, the Commission's E-ZPass QuickStart account sign-up program was suspended effective Thursday, April 17.

The new website for the DRJTBC's E-ZPass program is: www.ezpassnj.com.

Commission E-ZPass customers with questions about the agency's merger with into a new customer service center provider may call the Commission's toll-free customer support line at 1-800-363-0049.

New customers interested in acquiring E-ZPass accounts should contact the New Jersey E-ZPass system by calling 888-288-6865 or visiting the NJ E-ZPass website at www.ezpassnj.com.

Background

The transition to a new E-ZPass service provider was authorized by the Commission in late October as a means of achieving both short-term and long-term savings. The change also will provided a logistical dividend: The New Jersey E-ZPass system's back-office operations are located in Newark, N.J. while the Commission's current service provider's offices are in Richardson, Tx.

The New Jersey system is operated by Xerox State and Local Solutions, Inc. and it has a proven record of servicing the E-ZPass accounts of both large and small transportation agencies.

The Commission began the process of notifying its E-ZPass account holders about the transition in April. The vast majority of current DRJTBC E-ZPass account holders will be unaffected by the change in service providers. But some customers -- notably motorists who have "companion account" eligibility for commuter discounts at Commission crossings -- will be impacted.
