EASTON, PA - The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission today announced that two lanes closures will take place during off-peak hours along I-78 in New Jersey and Pennsylvania on Wednesday morning, Feb. 3.
Both lane closures will take place between 9 a.m. and noon and are scheduled for the following two locations: the right lane of I-78 east in the vicinity of mile marker 2.2 in New Jersey and the right lane of I-78 west in the vicinity of mile marker 0.3 in Pennsylvania.
The lane closures are required to accommodate contractors performing work along the stretches of I-78 under the Commission's jurisdiction near the I-78 Toll Bridge, which spans the Delaware River between Phillipsburg, N.J. and Williams Township, Pa.
The planned lane closures are subject to change due to weather, construction, emergency or traffic-related considerations. Motorists are asked to reduce their speed and use caution as they travel through an active work zone.
