EWING, NJ - The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission today announced that lane restrictions will be in effect on the northbound lanes of Route 29 beneath the approach roadway to the Scudder Falls (I-95) Bridge from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, Thursday, Nov. 13 and Friday, Nov. 14.

The section of affected roadway has two northbound lanes and any lane closures should only cause modest delays for Route 29 motorists.

The lane closures are required to accommodate contractors that are performing work in the vicinity of the bridge. The planned lane closure is subject to change due to weather or other unanticipated construction, emergency or traffic-related considerations.

Motorists are asked to reduce their speed and use caution as they travel through an active work zone.

The bridge carries I-95 across the Delaware River, linking Ewing with Lower Makefield Township, Pa. The bridge was the Commission's most heavily used span in 2007, handling an average 58,400 cars and trucks a day.
