MORRISVILLE, PA- The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced today that motorists using the Calhoun Street Toll-Supported Bridge between Morrisville, Pa. and Trenton, N.J. may encounter brief traffic delays during overnight hours next week

The bridge will be limited to alternating single lane traffic from 11 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, to 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23; and from 11 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, to 7 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25.

The lane closures are being scheduled so Commission employees can perform routine maintenance on the bridge. While the bridge will remain open during the maintenance work, flagging crews will be in place to direct traffic during the reduction to a single lane. Maintenance to be performed includes overhead sign work, as well as the welding of some portions of the bridge grating.
