NIGHTTIME LANE CLOSURES ON I-95/SCUDDER FALLS BRIDGE SCHEDULED FOR WEEK OF JUNE 30
NJ-PA bridge will have lane restrictions during off-peak hours Monday into Thursday

MORRISVILLE, PA - The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission today announced that overnight lane restrictions will take place next week on the Scudder Falls (I-95) Toll-Supported Bridge to accommodate contractors working on the bridge.

Weather permitting, the single-lane restrictions will occur as follows:

  •  The right southbound lane will be closed 9 p.m. Monday, June 30, until 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 1;

  •  The right southbound land will be closed again from 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, until 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 2;

  •  The right northbound lane will be closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, until 6 a.m. Thursday, July 3.

Motorists are asked to reduce their speed and use caution as they travel through an active work zone.

The bridge crosses the Delaware River, linking Lower Makefield Township, Pa. with Ewing Township, N.J.

About the Commission

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission was formed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey in 1934. It operates seven toll bridges and 13 toll-supported bridges, two of which are pedestrian-only spans. The Commission's jurisdiction extends along the Delaware River from the Philadelphia-Bucks County line north to the New Jersey/New York border. Its bridges carry more than 135 million cars and trucks each year.
