Project-related travel restrictions planned for the week of Jan. 14 are as follows:

Pennsylvania side

  • I-95 north from the Route 332/Newtown-Yardley interchange (Exit 49) to the Scudder Falls Bridge – Intermittent single-lane travel patterns 10 a.m. to 6 a.m. (next day) Monday, Jan. 15 through Friday, Jan. 19
  • I-95 south from the Scudder Falls Bridge to the Route 332/Newtown-Yardley interchange (exit 49) – Intermittent single-lane travel patterns 8 p.m. to 2 p.m. (next day) Monday, Jan. 15 through Friday Jan. 19
  • Taylorsville Road in vicinity of I-95 – Intermittent single-lane patterns 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15 to Friday, Jan. 19
  • Woodside Road (west of Taylorsville Road) – Intermittent single-lane patterns 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15 to Friday, Jan. 19
  • River Road/Route 32 – Intermittent alternating single-lane travel controlled by flaggers 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15 to Friday Jan. 19

New Jersey side  

  • Route 175/River Road and on-ramp to I-95 north –Intermittent alternating single-lane travel controlled by flaggers 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15 to Friday, Jan. 19
  • Route 29 interchange with I-95 – Single lane patterns in each direction on Route 29 in project area 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and restricted ramp widths 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15 to Friday, Jan. 19

Weekends: No project-related lane closures are scheduled for Jan. 13-14 and Jan. 20-21.

The aforementioned travel restrictions are subject to change due to weather, emergency, traffic, and equipment/materials mobilization considerations.  Motorists are urged to allow extra time to reach their destinations, and to reduce speeds and exercise caution when travelling through project work areas.

About The Commission
The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission was formed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey in 1934. It operates seven toll bridges and 13 toll-supported bridges, two of which are pedestrian-only spans. The Commission is a self-supporting public-service agency that receives neither federal nor state tax dollars to finance its projects or operations. Funding for the operations, maintenance and upkeep of its bridges and related transportation facilities is solely derived from revenues collected at its toll bridges. The Commission's jurisdiction extends along the Delaware River from the Philadelphia-Bucks County line north to the New Jersey/New York border. The bridges carried more than 144.5 million cars and trucks in 2016.
